This class (7 pup maximum) Focuses on teaching proper and preventing unwanted behaviors; socialization; and an introduction to basic obedience. AKC's S.T.A.R. Puppy certification test available to all breeds upon request.

Bettering Beginning Behaviors

Small class – maximum of 7 dogs enrolled – working on improving introductory obedience cues and manners. Sometimes a drop-in format and other times a 7 week structured class session. Exercises include:

Small Dog Manners

Canine Good Citizen Test

The CGC Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate form the American Kennel Club. Great for owners who would like to do pet visitation or therapy work with their dog. Dog should already have a good basic obedience foundation. The fee for this two week class is $40.00 and is limited to 4 dogs.

Building Canine Confidence

This is a class of up to 6 dogs who are fearful of unfamiliar humans in a variety of settings. Dogs should already have some basic attention skills and have completed introductory work around strangers.

Class exercises are designed to teach handlers how to best manage, followed by an emphasis on how to best reduce, their dogs’ anxieties.  Dog/handler teams will work on decreasing the distance between and increasing the interactions between the dogs and unfamiliar humans.

Growl II

Growl II is a class of up to 6 dogs/handlers who have graduated the Gowl I class, have worked on basic dog-dog coping skills and are ready to work at the next level of  reducing the dogs’ reactive/aggressive behaviors in the presence of other dogs.

Home Alone

This class (8 dogs maximum) allows students to work on skills to help dogs who have issues when left Home alone.

This class will introduce and work on the mechanics for helping the dog who is overly stressed by your absence. Mildly stressed dogs to dogs displaying full blown separation anxiety are encouraged to attend.

Teen Wolf
