As director of The Lifetime Bonds Program sponsored by Best Friend's Animal Society and Chicago's Safe Humane, Janice heads up a program that brings shelter dogs from Chicago Canine Rescue (www.chicagocaninerescue.com) for training and socialization to a population of juveniles in Illinois' Department of Corrections.   • Rover Meets Junior Seminar Adding a baby to a household with a dog or cat? Before the happy day arrives, learn about the common and hidden traps and pitfalls sometimes encountered by expanding families. The seminar will discuss how a family and their pets can prepare for the smooth arrival of a new baby. Issues covered will include identifying problem behaviors, minimizing the likelihood of development of such behaviors, and what to do when they occur. Rover Meets Junior will be held at Dog-a-holics (3608 N. Southport Ave., Chicago IL) on Saturday March 6th from 1pm - 2:30pm. The fee is $20.00. Call: 773-549-9000 to register.
